ive always used black wrinkle, spray 2 coats and heat it, then just spray a color coat over that...never had any issues

Used too much/bad clear and it turned a nasty baige color after a few weeks. Painted it black w/ceramic the second time, then black w/out ceramic the 3rd time. Just got really bored with the black (thanX in part to this thread. lol). That first pic is actually after I sandblasted the white off.

This is my first time spraying with a gun instead of a rattle can. I don't have any day time pictures but i'll post them when I can. What do ya think? I see dirt on the front of the cover, its not trash in the paint.

this is the first valve cover i ever did it was a bad prep and then i moved it to soon thats the spot above the symbol was much more red then orange in person (bad camera)
