View Full Version : F/S Ruger P89 9MM Stainless Pistol (15rd Mags)
allmotoronly

F/S Stainless Ruger P89 9mm with 15rd mags. This pistol is in excellent condition. I purchased it from a friend of my dad who collects guns. He shot the gun less than 10 times. I Put one mag through it, so it has been shot less than 25 times. It Looks brand new. This gun runs about $500 through a dealer. It is in perfect new condition. It comes with an extra 15rd clip that I had laying around. Serial# 309-16056
PRICE: $400 PRICE DROP $350
Update 6/14/07: I went to the gun range the other day and put 50 through the gun. It shoots sooo smooth. I cleaned the gun when I was done, and it still looks brand new. A friend of mine just got a new .44mag, and I really want to sell this gun so I can get something heavier (10mm, .44mag, .50). My fiance refuses to carry a pistol, so I really don't need this gun anymore. It is perfect for anyone who wants a good reliable gun for personal protection. It is well balanced and easy to shoot. Ruger's are widely known for their reliability. This is a good starter pistol. It has a smooth recoil, and with 164gr jhp's, knockdown power really isn't as much of a problem as most people may think. I promise if you land a solid shot (trunk of body or head, not arms or legs), the person is going down. I don't need a gun for personal protection, I would rather have a gun that can double as a hunting pistol. I have dropped the price to $350.
UPDATE #2 8/9/07
Gun is still for sale. I am remodeling a room in my house and need just a little extra $$$ to finish. I will take $325 for this gun. PM ME!!!!!!!!

last pawn shop offered me $250 for it when they had one in shitty shape sitting there for sale for $399.99. I would rather sale to an individual.
I am looking for a Glock 20 (10mm) though if anybody wants to trade (plus a little extra on my part)
I am now including a hard case with the pistol. I also have a nice holster that I will throw in for $20. It fits this gun good. I also have a box of Hornaday TAP JHP 147gr rounds (20) that I will throw in for $10.

I had that same one. Baddass gun. It was back in the day, we were at a feild party when I lived in NC, the cops came and I took off running into the woods. Found a tree that was bent at an angle and burried the gun under leaves and straw then headed back. Once the cops left I went looking for it but could not find it. Woke up the next day and looked for it and could not find it. It started to rain so we left. The next day was when Hurricane Fran came through. That big ass hurricane if yall can remember. Anyways after one week of heavy rain I go out with my friends. Told them what the tree looked like and 15min later my friend found it. I was thinking it was going to be completely rusted but I picked it up and there was not a spot of rust on it. In fact it looked like the rain did nothing to it other then make it cleaner. I was very impressed. Very good gun, I should get another one.

I feel like I've seen KP-89's at dealers new for less than $400. In fact I know I have, cause I paid like $410 for my CZ-85 and the fact that I ALMOST bought the Ruger means it was 80 or 90 less. They're REALLY good guns, but MSRP is $525, so it'l be tough to sell as used one for 400 (on here, esp). You might better off trying gunsamerica or something.

$400 is a deal. The gun is $500-550 new. For $400 you get the gun (which is pretty much new), a holster, a case, an extra mag, a cleaning kit, and a box of hornaday TAP JHP's.

If you saw a P89 new for less than $400 tell me where so I can go buy all the ones they have. You may have seen the P95 for around $400, but it is composite and costs less (MSRP $445-480). The P89 has a msrp of $475 for black and $525 for stainless. Most dealers sell within $50 of the MSRP. This one has been fired less than 50 times, and as I have said already a few times, $400 is for the gun, case, mag, holster, cleaning kit, and ammo.

I dont know about you but I have bought plenty of guns online and there are a lot of hidden fees. Unless you have a FFL, you have to find one who will sign the paperwork and accept shipment of the gun. Most charge about $25-50 for the transfer. Then the FFL will usually charge you for a background check since you are not officially buying the gun from them. Then you have to pay sales tax on the gun even if you buy it online from another state. $400 plus say 6% plus $25 for the FFL is about $450. I have bought from atlantic arms many times, and they are one of the biggest online rifle and assault rifle sales sites. Go ahead and buy it online. You should have it in two or three weeks. Or you can buy this one which comes with $75 worth of extra stuff. The cheapest real place I have seen one of these is bass pro shops, which sell the gun for about $459 plus tax.
Also I guess it doesnt matter if impact sells them for $50 less than everybody else since the P89 Stainless is out of stock.
