After a month and a half of my car being down I finally got my turbo in today. Hopefully by the end of next week my car will be back on the streets just waiting for my ecu and chip.

I am looking for somewhere in the neighborhood of 600-700hp to the wheels. I would really like it to be a low 10 sec car. Right now the car with the stock turbo does 12.3@20psi with nitrous to help it get off the line. The turbo is a TE63-1.

what size/trim is it actually? it's internally gated so it's not like a bigass T-series. i'd assume a T3/T04S maybe?

Should be fun, I figured it to be somewhere in the 600+ range. Did you do a full build on the engine as well or will that be on stock internals. I know that is a pretty tough block but I would think forged would be appropriate at those levels.

stock rods/pistons in the GN motors are stout as well. i've seen well over 600hp on stock engines.

the motor has been rebuilt with stonger internals. as for the trans, that is gonna have to be replaced in a few weeks with a turbo 400 because that thing will not last long.

erin, what kind of numbers are you putting down with your new turbo?

Are you still going to run nitrous to spool up?

hopefully the 3600 stall will be enough out the hole. figure about 5psi off the line should do the trick.

the GN that ran a 9.95 at commerce during tunafest was leaving on full boost after you heard it start to spool you could hear the external dump open.. music to my ears.

I hear you. 3600 stall should have you lifting the wheels w/ no problem. Did yall ever get any info from your Bosses camaro? I hate it that it got stolen, was definately sweet.

The camaro was actually spotted in alabama a few weeks ago on a open trailer. the guy who spotted it was a good freind of my bosses and did not know it was stolen. He described everything down to the custom full tank. The truck did not have a tag on the back of it but the trailer that was carrying the car had a tag but was no good and the cops could not get a ID on who owned it. When my boss found out they put out an APB and set up road blocks but never found the car. the only reason the guy did not follow him was because he had his family in the car and if there was an altercation he did not want anything to happen to them. so he just got the tag number and thought that would have done some good.

As of right now my boss is looking at a '70 nova and a '68 camaro. Right now his plans for it is a 506 engine hoping to make atleast 850-900 to the wheels. I will post up when he does get the new car.
