anyone know the price to put a new engine in???

this truck should have the vg33 engine in it, if it does, i know where one from an o4 frontier is for 800.00 it has 25k miles

also, if this has the old school vg30, its a lot easier to find them for cheap

Drop a 3.5 in it. I wish I had a garage to fix it in, it would be on its way here right now. I had a 98 5 speed that I loved but craved another 240 so I got rid of it. Good luck, those are great trucks.

If it's the VG30, you can grab one easily from an 84-89 300ZX, non turbo ones are everywhere. Hell if you want, just grab an engine from the 300ZX Turbo and have a turbo pathfinder :) The VG33 is pretty much the same exact block, all the same things bolt on, just it's a little bigger on the inside and will hold more overbore than the 3.0 will. Either way, very very easy to find these engines dirt cheap. Hell I'm tearing apart a turbo vg30 right now.
