Did the eclipse use the same motor I know 95 and 96 is a different body style but what about the motor. Just a regular gs or rs model.

Yea I heard that mitsu went with mopar and it was a nightmare, so what year did they stop it? I know only mistu I had was a 99 3000gt and I paid it off in 6 months and sold that bitch cause trans was fucking up.

i think 95-96 were mitsu but 97-99 were mopar but im not 100% on that

I think that all 2nd Gen non-turbos had the 420A 2.0L engine. The only exception is the 2nd Gen Spyder non-turbo, which had the 2.4L version. Therefore, 1995-1999 NA cars are powered by MOPAR.

The first Gen non-turbos were available with either the 1.8L SOHC, or the 2.0L DOHC Mitsubishi engines.
