like the title says, how much would you REALISTICALLY pay for this legend.

Its a 91
110,000 MILES

IT has A Blown Head Gasket!!!!

I'm not looking to purchase it, just trying to help Slowrolla figure out what to do.

does the human head remove from the floor board or is it stuck down? what is the current quote to have said head removed? these are things that might affect cost.

I love these cars but like someone else said... they are a pain to work on....

There is a Type II out there with 240 hp with a 6 speed manual and a 5 speed auto

Maybe $400. If I wanted to buy another Honda/Acura product... never again though.

When you add in the cost of towing, getting the parts, and the time spent fixing it, these "mechanic's special's" can turn into money pits real fast. And that's when you are doing the work yourself. If you need a shop to do the work... forget it.

It shouldnt be too bad to fix... i would buy it for 800-1000 and change the headgasket myself, sell it for 2000... If i recall though that is the funky 5 cylinder right? somone would buy it as a good dd after its fixed.

Even if the engine needs to be replaced, Legends hold there value very well. And even though it's night the piece to have there are still 13 y/o Legends going for $3-4K and owners aren't even hesitating to come down on the price. Forget about Tuning the car it's about the husband that needs a good reliable car for wife and doesn't want a car note...sold!!!

its v6

And that V6 is like a friggin' swiss clock too. It has to be the most PITA motor to work on I've ever seen. so many miles on vacuum tubing and so many little bits & pieces. No thanks
