I like to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 3rd Strike

was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to play these games?

3rd strike is at Mountasia on Barret Parkway. They also have Tekken 4 & 5, SVC Chaos, and something else..

Arbor Place Mall's arcade, Time Out, has Tekken 5 DR, Soul Calibur 3, and SVC Chaos.

I'll play.

Mortal Kombat is alright...it just has OD blood in it.

Armageddon sucked though...no more player-specific fatalities.

Yea I've played them all. I never got into guilty gear XX. Im like a very hardcore MVC2 player I was top16 in the the world at MVC1 played in EVO (fighting game world championships) in 2003 and 04 but I just got my ass kicked I could never get to the top of my game at MVC2 but I still love it and im always learning.

Ah, I see. I guess I just love it because I never had a Dreamcast, so I never got to enjoy MVC. It's probably the best 2d fighter on ps2.

SEGA was always the king of 2DEh, I think the 2D fighters on SNES were better than the ones on Genesis, except for Mortal Kombat. Genesis had speed, but the sacrificed sound quality and the graphics weren't as sharp as they could have been. SNES had a better overall quality game. A classic example is Street Fighter II Turbo.

Anyone else remember Eternal Champions? :lmfao:

I don't think they ever will, they are making so much more money making games for all 3 systems 360 ps3 and wii well 6 if you count the old ones. Just let them fight for position and make the games. But yea Sonic The Hedgehog 4 life

DDR Extreme, Intial D V3, Maximum Tune 2, SVC Chaos, Soul Calibur 3, Tekken 5 DR, Time Crisis 3 & 4, Silent Scope, Ferrari Simulator, F&F Superbikes, and quite a few more.

eh.... no beatmania no street fighter 3 third strike and no mvc2 :( I guess I need to start learning how to play tekken 5 and initial D V3 I retired from DDR and most those other games just dont do it for me

haha a few days ago me and a friend got in an argument like man i can so oown you in some tekken... we both havent played since like tekken 3 and tekken tag.

so we go to like every blockbuster in the area and they dont carry ANY tekken, went to hollywood... no one had it

so we ended up goign to gamestop and buying it lol

and went heads up for like 5 hours straight ... ended up being about dead even til my skill0rz came back and i pwned him back to back with any character (except the new ones, i haven't learned to play them yet)

but yeah tekken 5 ftw... i pwn


then i'll fuck up some gran turismo. ( i been hardcore since gt1)

tried to get any capcom vs snk/marvel or street fighter game, but the only one they carried at gamestop/all the blockbusters/hollywoods combined was the shitty SF EX3 (LOL)

i can sure fuck up some alpha 3 right now... haven't played that in forever.

anyone fuck with Mugen?

Oh, and the new Dark Resurrection characters in Tekken 5 DR are fucking badass.
