Shawna(Blacksichic)and I were at Northpoint mall today parked in front of dillards and someone stole her Si. Between 2:50pm and 5:00pm it was stolen.. It is a Black Si with 18" Silver Rims and has "Equal Minds" on the rear window. It also has Gold and purple beads hanging from the rear view miror (see pics below).. PLEASEEEEE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR IT!! THANKS!! The plate is "WF5G31"

This just makes me reiterate, IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU. PLEASE EVERYONE TAKE PRECAUTIONS when you leave your vehicle unattended. Unplug the ecu, pull fuses, get an alarm do SOMETHING. For people like my friend taht got his car stolen last ngiht, he only has liability, so its a total loss if its never recovered.

Yeah pretty much any honda up to 2001 was easy to steal, in 2001 they put the imobolizer chip in the key so it is harder to steal them now. The older ones only needed to have a key made and you could just walk up like you owned it and drive off, hotwiring is just as easy on them.

I just booked it out. $12,400 would be the NADA figure on the car. But, the Black Book figure, which is strictly a dealer book w/ wholesale figures has clean book at $10,650. With your car being a 2000 w/ only 60,000 miles and there not being a ton of si's on the market I would put it definately in the clean category.

Sorry you are right NP is Fulton . but still that whoel area is HOT, i know of 6 cars that got stolen this weekend. thats right, SIX. Balanced Performance got broken into as well. These guys are hitting hard and most likely the story i have heard is that the thieves are just taking wheels, interior, heads etc, they arent totally chopping or stripping the cars.

He knew a lot of random things about it and claimed he was from IA BUT no one knows who my ex is and this kid knew that we had been together for a long time but I have no clue who he is and neither does my ex...maybe 30 min later a guy comes up to get his car washed and started talking about how he had just stolen a car from the area and took it out racing and totaled it. He then proceeded to tell my ex that he took another car from the area earlier. He said he hadnt ever been caught so he wasnt going to stop...he then asked about my ex's civic and wanted to know what he had done to it and whether or not it had an alarm on it and inquired about another civic there also. This guy once again knew some random stuff about what went on. He filled a report and they are looking for this guy as a suspect in all of this b/c he admited to stealing cars in the area and was bragging about taking civics and some other things.

There is tons of apartment complex on buford hwy. And buford hwy stretches out really far. It would take way more than a couple of hours. Easier said then done. The only thing to do is to hope its still together.

3000-4000 block has been searched on buford HWY. i will be doing 2000 block tomorrow. i am a looser and i got nothing better to do. but serious, Brett has mentioned few times. i said on my post b4 that yall look for wrong things. driving around, calling insurance, looking into vehicle value, will net very SLIM chance of finding. as i said b4, research. ...well i was going to help ya but lost interest. cuz ur still a bia. talking about what we gonna do when we find this dude will net 0% help on recovery. police, well case is open. "open" are they loosing sleep or knocking on any doors? probably not. so bottom line u got friends and ya-self. get off the phone with insurance lady and look. look at possible places where it could be. research recent auto theft in the area. then, a month later u can then talk to insurance.

Some of you should just get a little group together, place a nice prime target of a car out at one of those places and then sit off to the side and wait. Catch the people doing it and you eleminate the problem. You could even film their little operation via cam corder and turn it in to the local PD. But if it was my car I'd hunt the people that stole it. Just my 2 cents

I've driven buford hwy twice now.. I went into almost every complex from N druid Hills down to 285 that I could find.. nothing although i have seen alot of car which seem out of place to me.. Sti's... Evos..a couple of 3000gts...I told shawna I will continue to do it.. Brett I went after the first time you posted about Buford Hwy.. I feel horrible since I was with Shawna when it happened... specially since my car was still there (not like anyone wants my pos but still its the point im trying to make).. I'm not ganna stop looking for it until they find it.. even if its 10 months down the road...
