I've got an RB20DET 5 spd tranmission that bolts up to the rb20det, rb25det and rb26dett I believe.

I also have the super strong rb26dett transmission (4wd, 5spd) if you want to do a 4wd swap or it can be modded for RWD only. The rb26dett trans is off a motor set. And for everyone that knows me and those who dont, I'm not a shop or upstart, just backyard performance.... :goodjob:

Thanks

Is the 26 tranny an early R32 or R33?

R33

Doesn't really matter. You can switch the bellhousing.

I'm aware of that but I don't want to have to switch the bellhousing since I can sell the OS Giken tranny I already have for more with the pull clutch bellhousing. Take a pic inside the bell housing for me so I can verify it and I'll probably take it off your hands. The pic you have of the motor does little to verify anything other than its an RB26 engine.

Pic from inside the bell housing of the 26 trans. I let you see the engine pic cus I thought the R32 rb26dett came with a black cover, but I guess ur right it doesnt help much. I hope this helps.

Thanks

That's why I asked for the pic since that is an R32 transmission, not an R33. You may want to check to see which motor you have because it may be a short nosed R32 motor since that's what the tranny is from. You can't go by the valve cover since they're easy to change and many people paint them anyways.

Ok, I was told it came from an R33. Thanks for the correction.
