4. Last time I was on a track was back in 2002. Same car; less mods, running nitrous, and no traction at 6000 ft above sea level. 13.6 @106 (13.6@106). Spun all the way through 3rd gear, but obveously had the power to run a high 12.
5. I have no idea what my car will run now.
6. I am closing on my house, so I doubt I will make it to a track soon.

I can bring either of the R1s, or the 929. My 02 R1 is probably the best match. It is the slowest one.

What we need to decide is when and where, that's all. Commerce is a good safe location, and you can publicize it, and have proof that you can run. No one can flame you for that. Don't worry about what you are running against, only worry about getting your car to do what it can. That's all you can control in racing. You have zero control over the other person's setup.
When is the big question. I cannot tomorrow night either, as I have to work just like you. We can put it off for weeks if you need to. It doesn't matter to me. I will be running all summer regardless.

The only way you could mess up something is not knowing how to ride a bike. I have a few quiet street places we could go though. More risk naturally, but doable.

No BS, just good clean runs - recorded so you have proof, and totally legal (so neither of us can get in legal trouble). I don't know you, and you don't know me, so I would expect you to be cautious of street racing someone you don't know.
I can bring either of the R1s, or the 929. My 02 R1 is probably the best match. It is the slowest one.

Your bike vs my bike - drag or track. If drag, we will pick a time at Commerce or Silver Dollar, lowest ET wins. If you want timed track laps, we can go to RA, Jennings, or Little Tally.

When everything is a money race, I could see how the racers would keep their mods secretive, but I wouldn't care if it's just for fun. A lot of people here are out to make a living off of racing, and I can see why with some of their posts (grammar, etc). :)

How would you like for me to tell you that I have a 2001 Mustang, but it is really a 2001 Cobra. Mustang is the basic body style, but a Cobra is a lot more upgraded than a mustang or even a GT.
Let me put it to you like you MIGHT be able to understand:
You have a TA, not a WS6. A WS6 is an upgraded version of a TA. Racing a mustang gt vs a TA is a pretty fair match up. Racing a WS6 vs a cobra would be a very good match up. Get it?
Also, unlike you, I AM going to run 198plus. We have already agreed to run. No money needs to be involved. He knows he will win and so do I. That would be like you putting money on a race between your TA and my mustang. We all know the outcome before we run. So why put money on it?

You should hook up with Crafty on here and come out one weekend. There is a black Camaro that would probably be a really good race if your being true about your setup. I am not trying to be a smart azz in any way but out here there is way more racing than keyboard bashing.
