Just wondering what an average WHP would be for this kind of set up. I've been seeing 200-210 but I've had a couple people comment saying that a t3/t4 setup should be making more power like 220-230, and suggested that it might be the tune... I beg to differ... but Let me hear what you guys think.

what d-series setup? health of the motor? desire of longevity, etc.

100whp over stock (stock internals) if you think you want it to last (200-210 or less depending on model), more if you don't care. i've made 206whp on my d16y7 using a 13t (tiny a$$ turbo from wrx and junkyard kit). i'm not out to make mine fail, but if it does no biggie...it'll just force me to put together the one i've been sitting on for over a year.

d-series rods are pencil thin and pretty weak. think about your goals and desires with d-series.

no I know what I want and I have what I want lol I was just asking what other people have seen from a D series with 8-9 pounds of boost. I got about 210 at the wheels on a T3/T04E setup. But I just had some people telling me that it should be putting out more.

a lot of that depends on where they are located too (elevation, temperature, humidity, etc). different dyno put out different #'s as well...we've dyno'd cars at the shop one evening and the next day taken the car to another shop's dyno-day and it put out higher #'s at the dyno-day.

you can probably estimate 7-10whp/lb of boost on an average setup over stock. sometimes you see 12-14whp/lb depending on the turbo and kit.

true, true..rods are a must in the D if your looking over 250hp. What up scotty? This is kyle with the green EG. Car is still running great man, cant wait to get some bigger injectors and head back your way for another tune on some higher boost.
