i got a b20 in my DC2 with a jdm front. i got a comptech icebox intake and dc 4-1 headers and apexi n1 cat back.
with that said, what else can i do to help the horses from the 96-98 B20's 126 horses?
has anyone had good experience with turboing or supercharging the B20? if so what did you use and how much was the estimated project?
thanx,

What B20? B or Z? I'm gonna assume the B20b with the p3f pistons since it's the cheapest and easiest to find... (knock sensor, intake manifold, and piston is the major differance)
Either way the most beneficial and safest upgrade is a VTEC head but the block is still the weak link. By a spare block and a $39 engine stand and have it sleeved and build it from scratch with upgraded internals...then keep the one you have in now for a spare.
I've seen a b20z with a port & polished b16a head bored out to 86mm with K20a2 pistons (not the rods, just the pistons) putting out over 200whp...the torque topped out at 4,5-5k rpms and was flat all the way across to redline. ;)

b20 sleeves don't like a lot of boost because they are so thin. i would recommend keeping it under 12psi if this is a daily.
i've tuned a few with 300whp +/- depending on the boost.

well i got a b16 head with all new crower type-r valves, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, adjustable cam gears, and satge 3 cams. what would i need to do to get that put on the b20?

they have turbo kits
full race and peak boost makes them.
