I use this stuff called Purple Power. You can get it from an auto-parts store. I think NAPA sells it and also Advance Autoparts. Pretty much any type of degreaser will work. Purple Power is strong though.

or get a GOOD pressure washer, put on a good tip on it and just blast the top layer of concrete off :)

Kitty litter/oil dry will not prevent stains in any shape or form unless it's used within seconds to minutes after the spill or is on extremely well sealed concrete...in which the sealant is preventing the stain, not the kitty litter.
Purple Power or Simple Green should break it down enough then use high pressure to rinse. If you're really serious about it i'd get a pot of boiling water and pour on after soaking it in a degreaser...then the highest pressure rinse you can do. :2cents:

well i bought some "zex" high power degreaser, it said don't use on concrete and I didnt listen, now I have a giant silverish purple mark instead of my original oil stains. I guess i should have listened.

I use purple power for everything. outside.
Grease in my clothes or on my skin... dishwashing detergent. I know it sounds crazy, but it works REALLY well. I put dishwashing detergent instead of clothes detergent in the washing machine and all the stains are gone. :D And yes, there's a bottle of palmolive in my bathroom. *sigh*
