im thinking about renting a mustang gt500... does anyone remember the car rental place that rented them out. i think enterprise had a fleet of them that they rented? does anyone know?

I would think hertz would rent fords, not enterprise. But anyway, I never heard of anyone except exotic places renting cars like those.

If you can afford about 300 to 400 bucks a day + insurance.. go for it..

It's Hertz. I called about renting one a month or two ago and they told me there were none in Atlanta. They didn't seem to have anything fun for rent here actually.

Yup, it's the Mustang GT-H. H stands for Hertz. Got 30-40 hp over a stock mustang GT. It's a thrown-back to bring back the nostalgia of when they did rent fun cars. You only get (if I remember right) 50 miles a day and pay per mile after that. Burn-outs?? Fawgetaboudit... they check tread depth before and after. Plus the insurance.... not worth it IMO. For a GT500 your going to have to rent from a place that rents exotics, and the chances they would have a Mustang on their lot are slim.
