damn thats bad ass. theres been a few videos running around lately of bad ass guitarists online. look up justin king - knock on wood...and go to www.justinking.com find videos and look for one that says guitar solo, thats one of the most amazing clips ive ever heard.

haha u have me looking up this guy and im downloading 3 of is albums on oink already. throw some more names at me i would like. i played guitar for years and then i put it down due to lack of time/interest, but i still appreciate the music. maybe ill get back into it one day, but throw some more names please.

like i said look up justin king, and eric johnson is the man too but hes a little more famous.

haha I smiled when I saw this thread...one of my favorite bands...have every song of his. Ocean is a really good song...when he plays it live...it blows that away...stretches it out do 10-15 minutes. But...honestly his best work is on slide...watch him and derek trucks...both amazing slide players.

Ocean isn't to terribly hard though...just have to be in open c tuning to do it right.

I saw John in concert last spring at the variety playhouse...one of the best concerts ive ever been to. I suggest y'all chek em out next time they're in atlanta. Until then...archive.org has some really really good concerts of theirs for download...he encourages people to record his concerts.
