So i sometimes fuck with scammers to see how far they will really go in paying for something, how they will pay, or what trick will they do to get something.
They are pretty sneaky if you dont know whats up.
The attached is a paypal statement I recieved in my email saying that this guy has paid for the laptop I was selling to him. When I check my paypal there is not payment. The paypal payment email looks pretty real.
Now after I call him out he isnt replying to me anymore..

Report his ass to Paypal. I'm sure they'd be interested in making an example out of him to discourage would-be scammers using their service. :goodjob:

The scammer isn't using paypal. That's the whole point. They send an e-mail that looks just like the e-mail you would receive from paypal if someone sends you a payment. And it would be very hard to track this person down.

I know he's not really using Paypal, but he is forging a document with Paypal on it. If I were Paypal, I'd damn sure be interested in making an example out of an obvious scammer to help myself look more secure.
See, if this person gets caught and someone presses the issue, it's a FEDERAL offense to do what he/she did. The minute you try and scam someone using interstate commerce as a ruse....it's on for the Feds.
That's like someone committing identity theft. It's not really you getting those loans and stuff, but it is YOU that presses the issue to have them caught, right? Same thing. Paypal should be very interested in someone copying their trademarked identity to commit a crime.

Bidpay never heard that one. But can you use it with all the same companies that use paypal.?
