I have a JVC "Sirius Compatible" cd player in my car. Killer bought me the tuner that plugs into my cd player, we called Sirius to send the signal.... Nothing. I've been on the phone with Sirius/JVC so much lately and still have no solutions. I dunno what it could be. We thought the tuner might be f'd so they sent me a new one and it still didn't work. Maybe it's the JVC Cd player? Anyone have one? Or a possible solution???

This would be better answered in the STEREO section cuz more stereo knowledged people visit there. What model JVC and Sirius unit do you have? Later, QD.

it's easy, just go under the hood and connect the red wire and the black wire (coming from the battery) together.

^why do you always say that? It's like some one telling you "good bye" after every statement they make, when you try to talk to them.

Really you just have to have it on the right channel if you did not do that. Go into the menu and push i think fm transmitter or frequency and change it there. To what station on your radio does not have any signal. And bam there you go. Of course what i said will be of no help to you sorry.

JVC Model: KD-LH300

Sirius Unit: SIR-JVC1

One thing, I know you probably have this, but you have an antennae?

Also, there could be a mode/SOURCE button that you would select to get the satellite to come through. Switch between the different modes on your radio until it says SIRIUS. If you find a panel that reads UPDATING, wait there until it is finished.

Do you have the antennae connected in the right place? Do you have J-Bus connector put in the right jack(headunit) on the tuner and in the right jack on the HU? Later, QD.

I've got the mode set to sirius in the settings, but when i actually switch the mode from cd to sirius it just says "Sirius"... No preview channel or anything...

Yep. I already said I've been on the phone with them multiple times and that they've sent me the signal a few times. I dunno what the problem is.

Are you getting power to the Sirius unit? Are there any lights that come on on the unit itself? Later, QD.

No, there's no lights to be lit (sp?)

But it does get warm...

According to my list the 300 is not compatible with the JVC1. Only 810 and above.
