I have never been even though I have been living in Atlanta forever...

Let me know. I did my own research but its always different to someone who has actually been there..

Im looking at being close to City Market, close to the Harbor also.

it really depends where you are at. I havent lived there for like 8 yrs and shit has built up alot since I lived there, but I know it should be alot of shit to do downtown. When I visit, I always go to the river front, Tybee island, and hang out in the malls and that takes up most of my weekend visits.

You will love it there, either stay at the Hyatt or the Westin.. they are both fabulous hotels... Riverstreet has alot to do so make sure you go there as well ..

definitly riverstreet.. lots of bars lots of shopping.. tybee is ok.. kinda touristy.. there is a fun seafood restaurant right before you cross the bridge to the island.. it's kinda back in a neighborhood but follow the signs.. there is an awesome outside deck.. that's if you like seafood of course :)

Just got back from there son, Pretty good times but the city of Savannah is mainly slums and ghetto. Downtown was pretty cool lots of bars and drunk people and i met a whole bunch of hippies.

Went to tybee island but the water was too fucking cold to go swimming but it is pretty much all tourist there.

just came back from the weekend celebrations... been there twice. River Street is pretty cool if your over 21. Bars not to bad and where u want to stay is around clubs and such. Yeah the city really is alot of slum area but River Street is alright. Not the most exciting place to be but its pretty cool. Good restraunts down there too and Kelly Marie are you talking about the Crab Shack (i think)? U have to turn down some side streets to get to it? good food if so

I think I did a majority of the "tourist" things in like 2 days... luckily a friend of mine worked at the Trolley company so we got to do all the tours and shit..

but atleast hit up TYBEE.. I don't know if the weather will be good though.. cold?

Good restraunts down there too and Kelly Marie are you talking about the Crab Shack (i think)? U have to turn down some side streets to get to it? good food if soyep that's the place.. it's been like 4 years since i've been there so i wasn't sure if it still existed :) it's randomly located but worth the short commute if you like seafood!

i was just at "the crab shack" saturday for lunch. was pretty good. its easy to find look for the sign on the right on the way to tybee island. they have a web site as well thecrabshack.com

I don't blame you for not going. I lived there for 15 years and Savannah sucks. Tybee is the worst beach ever and you would have gone just when the gnats would be bad..
