Which console

So out of the 3, I dont know whch one to get. Does the wii have a hard drive? I dont care abut the cost of the units or anything. I always liked xbox and ps and shyed away from nintendo cause its childish but then new wii is cool looking. SO I just dont know what to get.

good graphics, lots of games, solid online network that's been around for quite a few years, but i don't have a ps3 or wii so i'm probably a little biased.

if you want to buy a 360, you should wait. They are releasing a version 2 later in the year that is supposedly going to have a 120 gb hard drive, HDMI input, and a cooler running processor (from 90 nm to 65 nm) that runs cooler, faster, and more efficient. It will probably be the same price as the premium version now. Oh, and support for IPTV.

no, but you can buy the seperate hd-dvd player for it. pretty much the same quality as bluray.

I have a 360, but here's a breakdown for ya.

Want gameplay/workout --> Wii
Want graphics/ cool games --> 360
Want to be cooler than everyone else --> ps3

if you want an honest assesment, heres how it breaks down.

the wii is an EXCELLENT party console. its fun, no strings attached. it can seem kinda novelty at times, and its not gonna be realistic at all... but thats not the idea. fun times, especially with a large group.

the 360 hands down has the best games right now... gears of war by itself is almost worth it, rainbow six: vegas isnt out on PS3 yet and it kicks ass, forza 2 will be awesome, and halo 3 comes out this year. add a few xbox titles like ninja gaiden: Black, the KOTOR series, and halo, and you have EXCELLENT games. Hell, most of the major titles that were initially going to be PS3 exclusives have gone cross-platform and will hit the 360. Plus, Xbox LIVE is WAY above anything else in online console gaming right now.

the PS3 is the graphical powerhouse, though AT THE MOMENT the graphical prowess over the 360 is negligable at best. the system is having TERRIBLE support, and the library is TINY at the moment, with the exception of the PSone/PS2 library, which is awesome. It was overhyped, and sales are miserable at the moment.. and if bluray flops, the PS3 will likely go down with it. If you go with PS3, wait until they have a little bit more support, a larger library, and a bigger following.
