If anyone is interested, I live near Chattanooga and travel to Atlanta several times a month. Would like to get up a meet and greet and have a ride sometime. The norm is to do the dragon but its been done so many times that its getting old so if someone has something new let me know. Anyway throw dates out there and lets make it around end of April or so, or maybe even the first bit in May. Thanks and God bless
Michael

The is a Hwy in NC that is good, but cant remember it, I will find out and post it up, I remember is not as long as the dragon but goes up to a skiing resort of sorts and lots adn I mean lots of curves, made my wife sick when we went through there a few years ago in my truck. Pics, well I will get some in a few days, not really taken any of mine in a while but will see what I can do. Some of the pics of the MB car you can see it in the background. Someone at Wal-Mart buggy banged me the other day and put a good dent in the door......PISSED I WAS AND STILL AM....Working on security cameras there to find out who did it, I will find out and get it fixed. I am thinking of painting it a little more aggressive this time though, like the aggressive look. Its been just a high mettalic silver for a while now, well actually I used a PPG mixing fine/course mettalic paint filler as the base and cleared over it, it had a WOA factor when I first did it but thats was 7 years ago and its starting to show age so I am thinking of a nice paint sceme for it soon I hope. Anyway stay tuned and chime in if anyone has dates to propose or routes. God bless

Michael

List of mods on mine:

93 R1 Salvage title that if fixed
108000 miles
Still stock twins
Blitz SUS Intake
Greddy Turbo Timer
Koni Yellow 12 way adjustables all around
80mm sway bars
Factory Strut bar front and rear
Stocker wheels
Eibach Progression Comp Springs
SS Brake lines with rebuilt Mazda calipers
Brembo rotors CD, Slotted with Axxis True Blue Ceramic pads
Optima Yellow top
You can see it in the background of the tranny rebuild pic....

Also put my wifes new baby hauler rebuilt MS6 in there too, looking to mod it, its relativly fast for a 4door sedan, cant wait to mod it.

The silver 7 Only been slightly modded because I usually had a modded race car to use when I wanted to get crazy so never really did anything except drive to work a few days a month adn made sunday drives with the wife. Well long story but I really bought it for her and got addicted to them and the rest is history, total from what I have now and what I have built and sold.....11 3rd gens of all arrays and forms but never a R2!!!!! Anyway God bless and everyone have a great week..

You gotta find out who hit your car with the cart. I can't believe they didn't have the guts to stay there and pay for that.

Was red since birth but wife hates red so painted it silver for her. BTW other rx7's are welcome too by all means for the meet. Let just keep it up and not have 3 people show up to ride. 10 would be good though. God bless
Michael

BTW
Thanks

Alright, lets shoot for May 19th, that Saturday and meet in Dalton, Ga or maybe in Chattanooga, preferrablly Chatt, we have a warehouse there that has plenty of room and might even have a dyno there at the time too. Then we will ride for a few hours and go from there. Only thing is I will need to be home that evening to prepare for Sunday School the next day so thats my suggestion. We can do a Atlanta meet this Wed. after a meeting I am attending late in the day in Marietta and maybe do dinner or just meet at a resturant after that, maybe on Barrett parkway or something. Let meknow, If no one chimes in on this coming Wed. then I will jsut drive the truck and not the 7. Thanks again and let me know. God BLess

Highlands, NC is the place I was thinking of, here is the map of the road in and out.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&addtohistory=&address=&city=Highlands&state=NC&zipcode=28741&country=US&geodiff=1

Now, this is a curvy adn I mean curvy road, but also tight too so might not be quite as fun as the dragon but still fun. The highlands are so far from anywhere they dont have much as far as eats and like only 1 fuel stop that I remember but still nice and a good drive. This is my suggestion but then again open to any and all sugestions. Thanks and God bless
Michael

Probably leave from Chattanooga and take 64 into the highlands and then take 28 to 441 in Clayton. From there I am open, I figure it would be a 3 hour trip or so.

Lotte

Crap,I feel like a retard......13Bracer.....Justin right, thats the car I sold you. Crap man, anyway we will be working on Justins car that day hopefully if the garage comes through so we can get him back up and running. My meeting is 6-9pm so would be late to meet afterwords so lets try to meet around 4 if we can,I know its still working time but if anyone takes off that day or we can just at least meet up around 9 or so somewhere and just check each others cars out. I might still drive the truck for the fact of hauling my tools and parts down to fix Justin's car so I will see if it fits in the 7. Thanks again all and God bless

I am a retard Justin, the calipers gave it away...hehehe.

Lotte

Hey Justin, D&B is right near the BP on Pleasant Hill Road. I can meet you up at BP and take you there. About 2 minute trip from BP.

halfshaft5
03-24-2007, 12:07 AM
How far from Marietta is SRB...I think it like 3 miles south or so, am I right, if so then I am game, just dont want to have to travel too far the wrong way to go home, keep i mind I am traveling 2 1/2 hours one way so I will be getting ot Atlanta early that morning and dont get done till 9 so thats my thing. I am looking at getting home at 1 or 2 after we meet I imagine so it will probably be a hi, bye for me but at least I will make it. God Bless

Also pending on weather on Wed. if its raining or super hot then I will drive my truck and probably trailer the 7 down, I cant drive the dang thing in the rain, I like speed too mych and 120+ in the 7 in the rain is not fun sometimes. hehehe.

Let meknow fellows. God BLess

D&B at 8:30 or so right? Got an address for me?

David88vert
03-27-2007, 10:50 PM
There are 2 D&Bs. Steve Reynolds Blvd D&B is the wrong way for halfshaft5. It is 30 min in the opposite direction (off I-85 in Gwinnett).

halfshaft5, you are thinking of the D&B in Marietta just off the interstate. That is the one that everyone should meet at. It is much easier for halfshaft5, since he has a long ways to drive.

Ill dot he DB in Marietta, but looks like I will be driving the truck without my 7, buddied needs to use my trailer while his is getting fixed from an accident on Monday to haul his Bobcats around to do construction work and I am getting a speaker box from a member and some subs tomorrow in town so will need the hauling capacity of the truck, dont think they will fit in the 7 so it will be my Duramax Truck, but trust me its worthy of the mazda meet, its hauled all my Mazdas around the country so its all good, with it tuned and all the computers and chip hooked up, 483hp at wheels, a true drift truck minus being 3/4 ton, diesel, automatic, on 35 inch tires, crewcab and 4x4 but she gets sideways pretty easy. God bless and hope to see everyone tomorrow.
