lokkin at buying a 1999 civic si, it has a swap but i dont know what head, tranny or intake manifold is on it

it has a b18a1 block supposedly rebuilt, going to to a compression check tomorrow, what kinda compression is new for this block?

the tranny has stamped at the top of the bellhousing ysk2, thats the only thing i found so far

the head has stamped pr3-3 with red valve cover and p-75 hf-1 intake manifold, and a p28-a02 computer with some piggy back type harness, and also has msd injectors and a vtec controller

just would like to know where i can find the stamp codes and also what should i look for to know if this car is worth 7000, seems to pull hard, hasprt polished mounts, and never tacked out and i took it up to 9k rpms

any help would be greatly appreciated

b18a1 from 90-93 integra
pr3 is a B16 head

p75 is a LS...i'm pretty sure LS intake dont fit on b16 heads.....

i read that a pr3 is also a type r integra and also a itr head, i found out how to find the year the head was made, bu ti havnt had a chance to look at the car since then, but i will see it this afternoon

and do you know what kinda compression this should have, i know 185 is new on a sohc but im not sure about a swap like this

also this car has something on the shifter that when u downshift you have to push the clutch in and go to the gear lower than the one u want to go into and then u can go to the gear u want to, some kind of safety feature i guess to stop u from stripping an grinding gears, heard of it before?

If you got emissions, I don't think you can pass legally. Unless they put a crank angle sensor on that block with an obd2 oil pump, obd2 dizzy and obd2 ecu...

What i don't understand why you put a block that old in that car. I understand the b18b but why the "A" It can pull that much harder. Not to get off the subject just thinking out loud.

what i dont understand is why someone would rev a b18a to 9k and not snap a rod....Sure it doesnt say b16a??

i am not sure what the reason was in putting that old of a motor in, but i just said to hell with it, and i left well alone, and let someone else deal with that headache, or better yet nobody buy it, cause nobody with any knowledge would pay 7500 for that car, i might have gave him 4000 but he would have never took it

also this guy didnt even know what an idle was, he was liek whats an idle does it have somethign to do with the battery? lol
