ok so i have a set of koni yellow sport adjustable shocks for my 91 miata. I'm wanting some advice on what springs i should get, i know the ground control coil-overs are amazing but they are 400 bucks. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on less expensive products that will still perform well?

Depends on what you'll be doing with your car. For a daily driven car where you still want some comfort, i'd go with the Racing Beat street springs. The Konis are a EXCELLENT choice though, thats what im running. The Ground Controls are good, thats what spec Miata runs, and for what it costs new, its not bad at all. The highest recommended spring rate for the GCs on Konis is 450in./lb. Don't bother with the Tein S-tech springs or any other off brand stuff. Also, the RB springs don't slam the car, its a mild stance... i have pics of my old 96 Miata with a RB/KONI setup with the Konis on the low perch setting www.cardomain.com/id/droptopdrifter

yeah i was reading about the rb springs and people said the back were to soft and sagged a little bit after a few months, also i want them my car to be stiff i dont care to much on how rough the ride is. so i was thinking maybe the FM springs do you know anything about them? from what i read they dont lower your car that much but they improve handleing alot.

Don't know who makes the FM springs, but a quick message to FM wouldnt hurt. There are a few places that still sell the RB "race" springs, which are a good bit stiffer then the street springs. I think good-win-racing.com has them.

ok i will check them out and the FM=Flyin Miata springs. im gonna compare the two. and if you havent heard of flyinmiata you should really check out there shit, they have some really quality made stuff! flyinmiata.com

oh, trust me, i know of FM, i just dont know too much about their suspension compared to other suspensions.

My buddy has the complete FM Suspension setup on his 94 and it's tight as all hell. I personally used the H&R Race Springs on my Mazdaspeed and they were great. :)

oh, trust me, i know of FM, i just dont know too much about their suspension compared to other suspensions.
i was about to say some one for who is such a miata buff you have to know flyin miata lol. and Ran kizam does your buddys car looked lower from the suspension?

The thing I dont like about RB springs is the upward rake in the rear. FM springs are preferable IMHO...although a bit stiffer.
Eibach Pro kit is decent. Never had bad luck with those.
