So after threads on diffrent forums including this one http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107627 debates and everything else i traded in the Tib Saturday. The dealer offered me $9,500 (carmax offered $9k and i owed $7,900) for the Tib with CF hood, headers and exhaust on it and $8,051 worth of body work/frame repair just completed from the accident. I purchased a 07' 2 door, Jeep Wrangler X, 6 cyl, auto (yeah i know but im tired of manual in the traffic i drive everyday), 4x4, maroon with a black soft top, tow hooks front and rear, and it came with 16 inch american racing off road wheels and what looks to be 34" tires on it. Wish i could get some pictures up but no camera. I like it alot better than the tib, its not like the Tib was super fast and at 6'5" getting in and out sucked. Hope to get it on the trail soon once i get some more miles put on it and get everything broke in. I got to get some wheel locks and a locking gas cap though.

so went up to 4 Wheel Parts off Buford Hwy to get my wheel locks today and they took a look at it. I have 16" American Racing wheels, 35" off road tires and a 3 inch suspension lift (not spacers but new springs and such). Here are some pics

Is there a major reason why you bought a new one? Wranglers have been the same (more or less...) for ten years in YJ/TJ form.

i like the JK (07 up). The jeep is a little wider, longer, the seats have all been redone (way more comfort) along with a stock jeep can handle 33" tires from factory now. The suspension has seen some minor changes along with other little styles and such like the top is made thicker and goes on diffrent than previous yrs giving a better seal for water/air and reducing road noise. They also come factory with the rear sound bar, tweeters on the dash, and small factory sub in the back (yeah nothing impressive, trust me, but its better than yrs past).

Not sure if those features would make me pay retail for a Wrangler but many good points. Most people I know that have ever had a Wrangler have wanted to get another one. Make sure you get some skid plates to protect all that brand new equipment if you take her off road, good luck with it!

skids plates a must. i looked under it and there isnt much as u see. There is a skid plate for the gas tank and oil pan and thats it. I didnt pay retail. i got close to $4k off for my discount from being a Home Depot employee. got alot of adjusting to do going from the Tib to this
