busted up cat... pass emissions?

my cat is all fud up.. i can hear is rattle, and when i bang on it, i can hear all the busted up pieces of metal inside bouncing around.. my question is:
Will i still pass emissions? i have my emissions due..

You have and obd2 car. If it doesn't throw codes then you pass. Duh!
