sorry to hear that. there is a virus going around. some of my empolyees were sick too. where are u in gwinnett? and what about wiring harness? or any kinda wiring?

GGPIS3
03-19-2007, 05:20 PM
there isn't a wiring harness of any sort... just the actual unit and the wires that come out of it. this unit belonged to a friend of mine and he owed me some money so now i have it.

i dont think a wiring harness is needed.. there are only a few wires coming out of the unit.. shouldn't be too hard to figure out considering at least 2 of the wires are power and ground.

Interested in the bodykit. What kind of material is it made out of? Is that front piece for license plate or is the body kit identical to yours? Is your bodykit on your IS also made by VIS? Any possible way you could lower the price any? Thanks in advance! Good luck with your sale.

Yes the kit is the same as the one he has on his IS300 aka the L-tuned/TRD kit these are very rare.I would never question the quatily of VIS racing products...this is a hell of a deal.

I know they are the same... but i was asking if they are identical. If you look at the front bumper in the wrap it has something in the opening. Not sure if it is like packaging or part of the bumper.

GGPIS3
03-27-2007, 12:07 AM
no.. not identical... the neo/trd style has the license plate thing integrated into the bumper.. it comes with identical sideskirts and a rear bumper where mine is a rear lip, but they end up looking the same.

the main difference is that with the vis kit you have to either remove your 5mph support bar or replace it with a jdm one. and also the kit is made of reinforced fiberglass.. btw.... just for reference.. my l-tuned kit cost me 4,000.

I believe that your L-Tuned Cost $4,000... But Vis is not worth $4,000 so why reference? Good luck with sale. Sorry I "lowballed" you... a friend was interested. I was just asking.

Just letting you know that they are differences between the two. His is the "Original" urethane kit, while the VIS is a copied version made out of FRP.

Cost of Authentic > Cost of Replica, but at the end it all looks the same. Look at my Wald replica lip. Fits as good, if not better than authentic Wald, and it saved me good amount of change.

i didn't say the VIS kit was worth 4,000. i was just giving people an idea of what it cost to get my car to look like it does. i dont understand how someone can try to lowball a price of 400 and change when you are getting 2 brand new bumpers and 2 brand new sideskirts for that amount.

but whatever.. it will sell. im not worried. and im not going to just give it away.
