they seem like a decent alternative to chipping a car for less then 1/2 the price.

14 psi? and that kind of gain? i call bs! i mean only thing it controll is boost basically.
$250, i say chip in 50 more bucks and get UP'd

if you want to safely run your car i would chip it, you saw my gains w/ the GIAC chip, spend the extra $$$ and get what works ;)

from 7- 14 psi and gains of 40 hp , i dont see how that is unlikely.. thats basically what the chips do except from what i understand they also advance the timeing across the curve some providing a little more power in some situations.
what chip can i buy for only 300 bucks? is it worth having?

yea but i have the same problem getting over there that you did this thing i can install on my own, but you are probly right.. im just trying to get the max from my dollar.
