i thought JDM d15b was sohc vtec...

no there is a jdm d15b that is a non vtec motor .. but is basically the same a d15b7 over here ... it has a blockoff plate on the back of the head for some odd reason ..... tried even fiting a vtec solenoid up there and didnt fit ... ...Weird ... the one u thinking about has a z6 head out of the factory .. this one came with a b7 head out of the factory . the head numbers match the block and er thing . i think i have a pic around here showing that .. but gotta find it

yea thats why i was scratching my head over it too .lol i didnt know how to label it .. lmao:???: when i came acrross it i thought it was vtec .. then i looked at the spark plugs.. on the intake side i was like WTF !?

yea i had that same motor in my hatch...it's alot quicker than a b7 tho...i miss that thing...i raced a zc..and it bearly beat me

haha its the JDM D15B... non VTEC with the blockoff plate. its managed to confuse the hell out of me. glad im not the only one.
