Well after going to silver dollar last sunday and numerous time of hydroplaning in the rain (LOL), I decided to get some new tires cuz I'm not getting any traction. But I dont really know much about tires (besides the speed and thread ratings). I'm looking for a street/strip tire with some good life. Also they must come in 14's. So any suggestions? Thanks for your time

Well, I do know the basics about tires and different models of tires D but rule of thumb is any tire that is really good on dry (any drag radial) will absolutely suck when its wet, and most tires that are good when its wet (all-seasons) aren't so great when its dry. Also look at the Treadwear too, the higher the number the harder the rubber which means less grip.

Azenis RT-615 are pretty good DRY but aren't so great when it's wet .. Just gotta find the balance I guess

How much are you looking to spend each tire homes?

I'm not going to pay over $400-$500 for 14in tires.

What size tires do you want for the 14?

I gotta check my size when I get home.

I believe they are 185/60/14

I might up it too 195 tho

Son, with 185 width tires you'll never find traction :). I'd say 195 AT LEAST, LMK the exact tire size you're looking for & I'll try to help you make a decision.

what kind of tires are you on now? just look through tirerack or edgeracing.
good tires on dry pavement will be good tires on wet pavement, given that there's no puddles that cause hydroplaning. Good thing for you is that 14" tires aren't very expensive.
