da fucked up part about this whole thing is that i barely bough it bout a month ago, not long ago, and was barely put in for money reasons, so the motor was never ran or driven on the street

Was there any sort of contractual agreement keeping you from reporting bad press about them? Why arent you supposed to do this?

I'd say get a lawyer but if you're that tight on money you might just be fucked.

Interesting, if what he said is true and you waited more than 30 days you're SOL.

I've dealt with them too and never had a problem. I've only gotten one bad motor and that was from Jhot and by the time I got around to putting it in the warranty was over so I screwed myself on that one. Whenever you buy a motor you need to be ready to put it in upon delivery, it needs to be one of the last things you buy. Many companies only offer 30 days and they can't be sure what happened to the motor once it leaves there so many are pretty strict on following their warranty. You waited too long to put it in and it came back to bite you, its not completely NAD's fault. If you talked to them like you wrote your post I can understand why they blew you off, you truly need to learn to write and speak at least at a 9th grade level if your going to get anything accomplished.

call them. They are usually pretty good about this.

we own a shop and have bought COUNTLESS engines from them. never had a problem. How bad is the smoke, how many miles on it, how many miles have u driven with it?

i thought NAD had a 6month warranty.

Its only 6 mnth for a STOCK replacement, if its a performance engine they only give 30 days..........if you know them or deal with them often they will be more than helpful :goodjob: I've bought many parts and have COUNTLESS friends that have bought swaps from them, only 2 of them had problems and they took care of it, one was a bad turbo that they replaced for free, the other was a bad B16,they also replaced for FREE<and it was past the warranty, its all how you talk to peeps! Mr.Lee, Bay, and Sam are great, I've had no problems!

ive bought probably 15 motors from Bay, ive known him for a long time.

if its a REPLACEMENT motor, like same motor, same car, same year then its 6months.

if your putting a B20 into an integra, or a GSR into a Civic, its a 30 day warranty.

they will never warranty anything passt 30 days because they shoudlnt have to, how do they know you did the install correctly, didnt over heat or overrev it,ran it low on oil, etc.

30 days is a grace period, and outside of that, good luck.

They didn't start the motor up in front of you? They usually do to show you it runs the way it should.

you know the motor that was in your hatch the one you tryed to "build " was bought from them. i made 200 to the ground with a mild 7psi in your hatch.
you gotta understand those are used engines its always a gamble when buying used stuff i bought a motor and a trans from them and had great luck. what motor did you buy? did you honestly replace the timing belt, water pump, cam seals and crank seals to keep the little 30 day warranty??? if you did not they will not refund anything. oh and did you mention boost to any on them? if you did then your screwed.

sorry you had a bad experince with them but if i need a import motor then thats where i will get mine.
