Mr.MuayThai

Anyone wanna meet up sometime to do some sparring? Im getting alittle bored with training with the same people.. LOL! "sorry guys" but all styles are welcome! execpt TKD.. LOL! im kidding.. but if anyone can throw any ideas out where we can meet, and what dates everyone is open. and im on the Westside of Atlanta, in Douglasville.

The rules are..

1. leave your attitude at home
2. leave your ego with it
3. bring your own sparring gear
4. no ball shots
5. head gear is not needed
6. if you feel the need to use your elbows and knees you might need to bring some pads for them as well...
7. This isnt the place to call people out! (unless everyone accepts it :D)
8. And this isnt a sexiest hangout, the ladies are welcome to join!

knuckle up is no bueno

Alliance Martial Arts makes real champions ;x

www.alliancebjj.com (http://www.alliancebjj.com) for info, locations in Downtown Atlanta and off Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

they offer Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the 2 forms of the great Anderson Silva ;x

Instructor Romero "jacare" Cavalcante teaches classes and is one of 3 people to ever recieve a black belt from Rolls Gracie and the only one still teaching.

Alliance has put out the champions over Gracie gyms for the past few years running and sweeps the NAGA competition almost every year..

BTW IF YOU FIND A PLACE TO SPAR LEMME KNOW IM ALWYAS DOWN TO GET SOME GOOD PRACTICE IN :D

ALSO FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LEARN A LITTLE BJJ OR JUST FIND OUT WHAT IT'S ABOUT

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/casot/seminario.gif

also a great chance for you to get sharp for the pan ams coming up if you're competing!

UPMotorsport
03-06-2007, 11:38 AM
Alliance is a great gym also.

they have alot of good grapplers, they did well at the last NAGA

Chris trains there, he got grappler of the year, but at the last tourney in NC he hurt his ankle(I left before the ambulance came, but i think he broke it)

But knuckle up and alliance are both sweet gyms

I train at a gym in Fayetteville, we have open nights on Tuesdays. You could all join us. (light crowd usually, nice mats, traditional dojo.)

Grapplers would have to ask for takedown permission from their oponents. I certainly welcome it as long as you're ok with shoot counters.

04-26-2007, 11:25 AM
Yeah the Knuckleup gym is open right now, part of it atleast. there are bags for the kickboxing and ring for boxing and rolling etc, and they have a mat area for the BJJ. but the whole other side of the gym isnt done yet, but we are rolling already, other side should be done soon

any of you all going to the Import Face-Off car show on May 20th? (www.ImportFaceOff.net) We've been having MMA training and light sparring sessions at all the shows this year. It's been a fun addition to the event. Felipe Espinoza, a BJJ purple belt and pro cage fighter hosts the sessions in a boxing ring, sponsored by the USMC.

Here's a vid and pic of me at the last show...

A decade ago I won state in sparing in tkd black belt. 10 years later Im fatter, recovering alcoholic, pack a day smoking, flexibility of a dead body having chump. My belt comes no where to fitting. But probably still can spar pretty good. I'll just end up pulling something.
