Lt1's are junk and are a pain in ass motor. The optisparks suck major ass on them but with enough cubes and a D1 or F1 procharger I guess it can be fast just not a fan of them after working on them so long. Just don't like the motor itself. You can make ANYTHING fast its just harder to do with some such as the Lt1 motors.

400 whp with similar torque is enough to run deep in the 11's with a decent-hooking combo. The problem is MPH... Most runs these days are roll-races, so a good 60' isnt going to help. I agree, in a drag race, a properly setup f-body with 400 whp and similiar tq would romp most people on this board. Unfortunately, from a roll, a 300 whp civic would most likely embarrass it.
