I have a 91 DA and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the cheap-ass short shifter or 5 pc tie bar set. While i know i'm probably wrong I am under the impression that when it comes to things like that you are paying for a brand.
All I want is some input...or you can just make fun of my ignorance too:blah: (actually i think it's kinda funny lol). I forgot one thing. I also foud a full gasket set for like 100 bucks. It sounded really cheap to me.

well two of my friends had them and they snaped when shifting really quick but the other probably 10 of them have been fine, truthfully I just cut mine, it was free and no one ever noticed that it was cut.....

Did you re-thread? or just get a cheap allen key knob? And what did you cut it with?
