update. the car fucked up today. clutch is 100% completly gone. im not sure if its just the clutch or the transmission as well, i need to get it checked out.

and plans for mods (if i can get it running) is exhaust and intake first. thats what im thinking about now, i'll decide more after. i already have to pay for a new clutch to.

nah i got some money for the car, but it was supposed to go towards mods, and not fixing the car. but thats what i will have to do. i got a 6 month extended warranty and im hoping if there is transmission problems, the warranty will cover it.

and btw, wheel size is 17

Awesome car. Sucks that the clutch pooped out. Been doin some hard launches? If it turns out the clutch is in fact done, I would invest in a GOOD clutch upgrade. Just so you don't have to worry about it in the future when you add some power....you'll know the clutch is solid and won't get annihilated the first time you launch it hard. I'd recommend a SPEC or ACT clutch.

Such is the case for 2WD cars but a lot of AWD guys like running the stock clutch even at higher power levels so that if anything happens the clutch goes out before the transmission blows.

i've checked out 2.5rs.com and i will go to wrx atl. im gonna wait until my car is out of the shop though. im going to get a ACT clutch set up. HID's in the headlights and foglights, and a tune up. and im hoping that my tranny is really fucked up, and i need a new one. because clutch's arent covered under my warranty but trannys are. and that way i can get a whole new one, for around 50 or 100$ deductible.

talked to the guy today. im getting a spec clutch kit, new flywheel, fog light replaced, my exhaust spot welded (since i now no longer have money for a nice exhaust), the electrical problems sorted out (door sensors are fucked up, and maybe the battery too), and the car tuned, for 1090$. i dont think its a bad deal.

i got my car back from the shop today. it's nice. the new clutch is hard to get used to, it pops up, unlike my old one. but i'll get used to it.
