To buy an AE86 or not....

Well one of my friends is selling is AE86. Its in good shape with no rust and one minor dent. Has a new clutch and new battery and the interior is in good shape. His parents are the ones actually selling it. But reguardless its a SR5 and I have no idea how many miles on it (I probably should have asked) but he wants 1k for it. Do you guys think thats a decent deal?

yes and no...you dont have DOHC, LSD or rear disk on the sr5 and GTS rears are a bitch to find cheaply so yes and no...good deal but youll be better off getting a GTS if you want a corolla

get a mk1 mr2 instead, nicer looking, lighter, handle better, and not too many people have them.

if your in it for the drifting i guess the ae86 would be more suitable
