Jury duty sucks

Had to go yesterday and didn't get picked so had to go back today. Didn't get picked now I have to go back at 3

I went about a month ago and got dismissed... didn't have to go back.

I sat, fell asleep in the chair (about 60% of the people there were out cold), the girl started calling names and didn't call mine. Then she said "If I didn't call your name, we don't have a trail for you at this time, you are free to go and your jury duty requirement is fulfilled". Got home about 10:30 and did not a damn thing all day since I was already off work.

The 2 hours I was there were some of the most painfully boring hours of my life.

Still got my $15 for that day though

yes....just act crazy when you go....sure enough way to not get picked....tell em you believe in the death penalty and everyone should die!!!!!!!!

well yesterday they was naming off all the cases this week and my cousin has one coming up so i hope that his is the next one so i would not get picked for it

I wasn't really worried about it. 2 hours there and a paid day off work... fine with me.

I've never had Jury Duty in GA before but I know in SC it changes if you actually serve. You get more pay plus mileage.

Yeah I did that recently. Got $15 out of it, but was there alllll day. From 8am to 7pm. It sucked balls.
