What turbo for my s2k???

I am trying to get suggestions on the right turbo for my setup. I am building my s2k for daily driving and road racing. I have looked at the gt35r, and a precision sc61, these are my main pics so far. Looking for around 450-500 with pretty immediate throttle response.

Thats a lot of horse power if you are sticking with stock internals. Have you changed the rear end? That would be gone quick with that many ponies. The lovefab kit will make the most horsepower due to the tubular manifold design but with that there will be some cracking issues. The inline pro kit is very reliable but a few less ponies. You will need to go to a 3mm headgasket at least with head studs. Good luck.

I'd suggest a GT30R. Pretty quick spool and makes as much power as you're looking for.

As far as kits go... call Main Stream. They built a 700hp S2000 w/ their own tubular manifold, V mount intercooler and more. I'd personally get it done locally with someone who has experience and in case anything ever happens... you've got someone local that knows the car.

You can look over dyno sheets, get a pretty accurate estimate, peace of mind of them being local and having it tuned at the same location.

I have not changed the rear end yet. I have heard of people installing r34 gtr rear ends, and s15 custom work. I'm going to check into these. I have built ls/vtecs and other honda motors. This will be my first turbo. I will be doing the bottom end with lower 9:5:1 compression. I would be interested in having it bored or sleeved. About how much would that be from mainstream???
