Rushing exhaust gases cause a great deal of static electricity, what the Hot Earth Ground wires do is form a ground between the exhaust system and the chassis.I friend has them on his car and he claims that his throtle response improved,I noticed his exhaust note changed, that's why I bought them.

I have a set of these on my CRX (they came with my swap). Basically you ground the engine to the chassis. I have mines running from the valve cover to my radiator support and from my intake manifold to the body of my car. Did I feel an improvement? Dont know cuz I had them on since my swap was done, but extra grounds cant hurt can they? If some one is really interested in these, I can compare.

I am guessing unless your grounds suck, this won't do much.

yes and no.
factory comes with ground wires such as this.
those ground wires get old and worn and sometimes torn.

good time to replace them with these.

i know for a fact s13 comes with the ground wire, because i had to haggle with it to take my stocker off.

and.. afaik, more ground = better.

yes and no.

The only factory that I know that grounds it's exhaust system is Porsche.Again these are not for your engine they are for the exhaust.

every car comes with a few grounds on the engine but ive never heard of them on the exhaust but it makes sense tho the more grounds you have the better it just makes your electronics work mo effeciently. I recently went to audio school and they tlod us about upgrading the grounds so I did mine I replaced my factory grounds with 4 guage and connected them all together plus I ran a ground wire from the battery ground to my ecu I definately felt a difference.

I'm sure these will be perfect for someone with forced induction, all of that air going through the exhaust causes a great deal of static electricity.
