searchin for a new oil pan saw this one for pretty cheap?
buy or not?

i just posted this on the rx7 site to get some feedback. i gotta get one either way. but dunno if i am going with this one or the one frome pineapple racing for gazillion dollars more. give them a call monday morn and let us know. :D

Yeah, if you do decide to get this Oil Pan. Give us a heads up. I might wait for the Oil Pan since I need to get some other part's first.

DO NOT ORDER THAT. That is not an engine oilpan, it is just a differential cover for the rear-end. GREDDY does not make an oil pan for the FD RX-7 they only make one for the SE3P (RX-8).

i placed my order for the oil pan from pineapple and they sent me an email saying it was on backorder with eta. :( :thinking:

he really couldnt tell me but it was somewhere in the time frame of a month or so. but he said that you could use an FC oil pan with some extra drilling for the holes.

"It will bolt on, but the FC has a center engine mount with three large bolt hole. One goes through the center of the pan and can be plugged with a pipe plug. The other two are outside the o-ring, so they are not a concern for leaks, but they are where there would otherwise be a few 6mm oil pan bolt holes. You can probably get away without those extra bolts, but you may want to just drill and use them too. Not a huge mod but not simply bolt-on."

You don't need that pan, yours doesn't even leak at all. Only thing leaking on yours is that power steering pump, and those tires are too hard of compoung for any good grip.
