Its catchy tho right? The pictures showed up better on my g/f's computer. I dunno why there so fuzzy on mine.

It was funny, we got all three cars side by side in the parking deck, and then the basketball game or w/e was going on last night ended, and like 3 or 4 people tried to get past us while we were blocking the way. :lmao:

That is actually my shoe, I took that pic with his camera. I didn't want to lay it on the ground since it isn't my camera, so I tried to lay back. Didn't work out so well huh? :lmfao:

We got one, just forgot to bring it with. We're gonna get a better camera, maybe somethin similar to that one but w/ a speed adjustment too.

Flip, i was playin w/ the ISO and the ones i shot at 50 and 100 and 200 came out too dark, i think those were shot at 400. and this adjustment, Im not sure what it was (had intervals of 1/5 1/20,30,40 up to 100 or so, then it went to 0"4 and up from there) and it kept getting darker and lighter.

Well you want your iso to be as low as possible. Next time try it at 50, but those numbers you are talking about (intervals of 1/5 1/20,30,40 up to 100 or so, then it went to 0"4 and up from there), that's your shutter speed. 1/5 means 1/5 of a second, then you have 1/20 of a second and so on. Once it gets to like "4, that means 4 seconds. You want to keep it open longer to compesate for the lower iso and lack of light.

So next time, lower your iso as far as you can, and try making the shutter speed longer and longer and that should really help you out.

what he said, and with a longer shutter its best to set like a 5 second timer with the camera on a tripod, push the button the 5 seconds later the tripod will hold the camera steady with a wide shutter speed. cause with the slightiest movement for u pressing the button to take the picture with such a wide shutter it still could cause blearyness.

Yea nice call, either do that, or see if you can purchase a remote for your camera. Those really come in handy for situations like that.

Ok, im lookin at a Canon Powershot A80. The one I have is my g/f's A75. this does everything the 75 does but its 4mp instead of 3.2. Is the megapixles really gonna matter that much if im shooting w/ a high shutter speed and a tripod?

My understanding is that Mega Pixels only matter if you are planning on getting the pictures blown up. If you are going to keep them relatively small then you should be ok. Mine is only 6.1 and it has worked out great for me. I wouldn't worry as much about the Mega Pixels as I would the quality of the optical zoom. If you plan on zooming in a lot make sure you're not relying heavily on digital zoom.

Im on a budget as far as a camera, i can aquire this A80 for less than 100. I may just hold off until later. I do plan on investing in a serious camera here when i get my finances straight. like a DSLR, my g/f is doin some video/photography stuff in school and she said she needs one anyway

yeah its only a 3.2 MP camera and i was trying to compensate by using a longer shutter speed but we forgot the tripod so it ended up being worse. The pictures actually look better on my computer than it looks on the web for some resaon (compression maybe?)
