Anyone know of any places, shops, or people who do a good job at replacing front windshields for cars? There's a big shatter mark about the size of my fist on my windshield from a part of BatlGround's Evo flying into it at high speeds. I'll most likely need a place that can replace a whole windshield instead of doing small crack repairs.

Also, anyone know of a way to have a windshield replaced under insurance (for road hazards) without paying the deductible? Just curious if anyone else has experience with this issue. I use AllState and my deductible is $500... not something I'm really looking forward to pay if I have to.

Do any of these shops deal with insurance for you? Also, are they able to make it so you don't have to pay your deductible on your insurance but still have insurance pay for it all?

I'm real worried 'bout how much I'll end up paying for something that's not my fault. =[

Try car spa on windy hill. They have a fee winshield thing with insurance.

You were racing, right, when it happened?

Do you have the phone # to Car Spa? Do they deal with the insurance company for you?

Technically, I was slowing down when it happened... but a couple seconds before that, yes, I was racing against your car with Dan driving. I just didn't expect for it to blow parts into my car or else I would have been in a different lane. Kinda like how you don't expect for that small rock to fall off the back of a dump truck and hit your car, ya know?

Make sure you get the correct front windshield. The glass thickness for the Lancer and Lancer EVO is different. The front Evo windshield and all glass in it is made thinner than the standard lancer to save weight. If you call the dealer there are two part numbers and you guessed it the one for the EVO is much more expensive. So when ordering make sure you get the right one, I went through hell and finally just ended up having the dealership do it because noone could get me the right front windshield when the one on my Evo cracked.
