Miata vs. Audi TT

So im rollin down one of the local 4 lane roads around here going to get some dinner with the girlfriend when out of nowhere, this car comes flyin up on my ass. WTF? I couldnt tell what it was by the headlights and then to goes to get around me. I see this silver thing, what looks like a squashed VW Beetle... oh wait, its a TT. Its got some sort of exhaust, with one tip.....usually meaning its not a quattro version. So i jump behind him and follow to see if we can get a clear shot.

Red light, no cars.. bingo.

Light goes green and we both drop the hammer. I get 2 lengths right off the bat. Slamming 2nd and 3rd only make it worse....poor boy got SMOKED.

I'm pretty sure he is on IA too :)

i couldnt see the front plate, but it was heading toward AMC on L/S rd , it was lowered and had aftermarket wheels too

Just to clarify, the TT being raced was NOT mine. I am in Milledgeville going to college at GCSU… If the TT only had one exhaust tip it was only the 1.8t non-quattro edition. Nice kill either way though.

yeah, it was one tip, but then again it was not stock... so the WTF flag goes up.

Bah, i was hoping it was you...because thats not the right story... was hoping to get a rise out of someone and call BS lolol. In all reality , i was fuckin with the said TT on l'ville swannee, but didnt drop from a light..... would like to though :)

I met a guy up at the BP across from Gwinnett Place with a silver TT about 6 months ago. Car had one tip w/ exhaust, wheels, and some suspension work. It might have been him. I wouldn’t mind taking a stab at yours sometime though. I've always admired your FMIC! I live up in Dacula and will be back this afternoon. PM me if your interested.

i remember someone, one of the Bosnian guys(?) having a TT, But i have not seen it in quite sometime. Then there was another guy in Buford with a TT, who came to PnR a few times, i cant remember what color it was though.

We might do a fun run or 2 sometime, just because i have a i/c doesnt mean im making huge power though lol, its a safeguard for very harsh conditions of drifting.

I'm pretty sure I know the guy you're talking about..........if it's him, he deserves to lose cause he's an idiot.
He has an upgraded turbo, 3" exhaust, FMIC and his upgrades are capable of making around 270whp.....................and had he spent a couple hundred bucks on tuning, he would have raped you pretty badly.

CAPABLE. If you read further you'll see I mentioned he wasn't tuned for the mods..............therefore he only makes about 150whp.
The outcome was not surprising:
Mike's Miata makes roughly 180whp (I think, unless he has more mods now) and weighs about 2300 lbs.
Idiot's TT makes roughly 150whp and weighs about 2900 lbs.
