I started this thread mainly for 3000GT owners and the common issues with them, as a new issue comes up I will update my list.

1. Car suddenly cuts out but only for a split second. It does this at all times and is very random. It slowly gets worse over time and sometimes does not throw a check engine light.

The ECU has a few Capasitors in it that will go bad. Replace them with 105 degree rated Capasitors and it will rid you of this annoying and troublesome issue. This mainly affects 1g 3000GT's.

2. Seat Belts stay slakened and never seem to go back to proper tension upon buckling up.

You will more than likely have to replace the unit. Mitsubishi is aware of the problems. Go here and file you complaint so that this issue can be resolved in the near future if you do not want to spend the money to fix it.

3. AWD Fluid light comes on.

TAKE TO DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY!!! RECOMMEND TOWING!...if the transfer case runs out of fluid it WILL lock up all 4 tires no matter how fast you are going. This is a safety recall that Mitsubishi is WELL aware of.

4. Defrost Vents are broken

The best way to fix this problem is to replace them with Billet Aluminum inserts. The OEM plastic ones will always crack, just upgrade to the Billet ones, they can be purchased in Satin Black or can be purchased to color match your dash.
