I think everyone can be on the same level mindset as that guy. We all have those demonic thoughts from time to time, where we just wanna snap... most of us dont... but for the few that do.... I really dont know what is a good excuse to blame for triggering that kid off

Just cause hes Muslim doesn't mean he acted like the ones that did on 9/11. Im Bosnian and Muslim but you wont catch me taking innocent lives. I have no clue why he would just do that. I think maybe he was going through a hard time in his life, who knows? But anyways most of us came here for a better living but to come here and kill people who let you in their country is just wrong. And whats wrong with accepting refugees from other countries? What if USA was suddenly attacked and in order to survive you had to get to another country? How would you feel if the people just suddenly said "No we cant let you in." "One of your American just opened fire at the mall killing some of our people." The point is, not every person in the religion/race/whatever acts the same way.
