Yep just like the title said. Went to get my Emissions test today and failed. Anybody know a shop that can fix my Emission problem near Gwinnett. Mazcare is too far, but if nobody knows than I guess I have to take it to Mazcare.

I haven't gotten a license plate yet. So can I just go up there with my insurance and title? To get the license plate. I have already got it titled on my name.

you have to have some type of mail for that county to show that you "live" in that county, if you have family or a friend that lives in a no emission county i would recomend you just have a bill sent to there house and that will be enough proof for the tag office

Damn I wish I had more relatives living here. lol.

What criteria did you fail? Actual part of the emissions reading or inspection?

Lotte

wrong.

Since i am currently doing this myself. Here's what i did.

Obtain address of a place outside metro-atlanta. By chance, my parents had just moved to Jackson Co. You can also use like a mailboxes etc. because they have a street address and not a P.O. box number. Then you take the address to the DMVS (where you get your license, any location). Tell them you have an address change, they will change your license address. Take that new license to the county in which your address is and register your car there. You also need to insure your car to the same address, i did just to be safe and so it would look a little less suspicious if i needed to show my ins. card and license.

Thanks for the help guys, but I don't have any relatives or friends that live in a county that doesn't do emissions.

Let me put that pre-cat downpipe on your car, and we will take it to the place up the street from my work. The other mechanic in my shop used to work at that emissions place, and knows all the guys there....

the street port is probably hurting you. Since i put the new plugs in it may help, and the pre-cat will help alot too.

Do you have the power FC commander? i could lean it out for the emissions, and then re-load you current map and you will be done. Don't you just love modern technology? :D

Hey Mike, well it came with the Power FC but not with the commander. Can you get it from somebody? Do you need my other emissions form when I failed it? Thanks for the pics. And damn you have a nice camera phone. :) Thanks for the help.

Yeah Matt, bring me your sheet. Also, maybe i can borrow a commander to do your emissions lean-out.

Thanks for the props on the phone.. i just got it for my b-day, it's the nokia 6265i w/ 2 megapixel cam, and MP3. It's totally worth the money!

I will bring the sheet to you on Monday. I got the Radiator and Coolant Hoses, but I have no idea why I didn't get the other parts. Hopefully it will come by Monday morning.
