Don't need a dealer liscense at a public aution, there are many out there, just have to research. Or just keep a look out because many people sell cars cheap just to get rid of it or don't know what is wrong with it when it could be something small.

Yeah, but I've never seen any good deals at the public auctions around here.

The best way to make a little extra cheese is to find someone selling something in bulk that you know you can make some money off. It will cost you a little up front and you have to be patient.

Like myself, I like to get my turnaround within 2 weeks depending on how much I spend. That 2 weeks I will usually invest about $2000. The more you invest, the more items you are probably getting, and the longer it will probably take to get your investment back. Also depends on how hot that item is.

Here you go. I am a Dealer, and here are some of the laws quoted from the law books:

"Individuals may sell only four vehicles that are properly titled and registered in the individual's name per 12 month period.

Individuals may not sell a vehicle that is not titled and registered in their name.

A person offering for sale a vehicle with the expectation of making a profit must have a motor vehicle dealer's license.

Landowners of lessees may not permit more than 2 vehicles to be displayed at the same time on property under their control nor shall they permit more than 5 vehicles to be displayed in any 12-month period."

Straight from our laws.

become a certified ManWhore, believe me it works. Cater to older women, they pay more!!! Don't forget to always pre-screen your clients......

j/k

all jokes aside, as mentioned before - buying in bulk and reselling is very profitable......have to do your research and ensure that your product is high in demand though. I buy and resell higher end products that are hard to find whenever I'm in need.

I can make you an extra $1k a week but it's not TheMan-Approved...
Reselling the cars is a great idea, esp if you don't follow the guidelines (aka laws)
I tried a drop-ship company through eBay...didn't work for me, prob due to the fact I slacked on the product research...RESEARCH anything for resales, like the above have stated.

Got a customer. Gotta go.
