we dont always have the luxury of finding already color matched parts.
So we just buy what works... if it doesnt work then we buy new... i.e hoods, bumpers, and etc. ;)

i was kinda envious of the whole car when we bought it...
with the exception of the super shaved doors :headslap:
but her doors stayed intact unlike mine.
she still has VTEC unlike mine.
and the previous paint job actually looked nice unlike, well sorta like mine.
Its rare that you find a car like hers. most of the ones ive come by were SI's and were born SOHC

Yeah but why put incomplete pics of your car all over the internet? I'd be embarassed to be driving around looking like that. You can do a pretty good DIY paint job with spray paint and a lot of wet sanding. Set aside a weekend and paint the whole car, sand it, clear it, sand it again, etc.

-there is such a thing we like to call "before and after". you know, like a timeline of your build. so that when you get the finished product ppl "all over the internet" can see where you came from. Projects dont always start off perfect.
Some people post their stock cars "all over the internet" but they're not questioned. Why post your stock vehicle when i just saw a 95 Accord that looks just like yours but has a baby on board sticker on the windshield that looks no different?
i believe my thread has just as much if not more purpose than those

-you can be embarrased if you like. but im not. its my car, it runs, and thats all that really matters. i could care less about how it looks for the time being.

-Why do a DIY when you have the funds to get a real paint job? :dunno: I just have patience i guess. :goodjob:

And the Impala is about to go and get fixed also. The wheels for the R1 are getting painted this week. Lots of cash going out lately on these cars....
Sometimes, it just takes time, doesn't matter how much cash you have, just takes time. Don't rush it, do it when you can....

i painted this one at my house/shop because it looked just about the same as all your "before" pics...1/3 Primer, 1/3 epoxy catalyst, 1/3 reducer to cover up the mismatched fenders and bumpers :tongue:

just like me... ive had this white car since 03... but you've made it way farther than i have in the same amount of time. ive had to learn from mistakes made in the past 3-4 years. and now im finally recovering from them
but... why not keep it and build something else? ive seen it happen too many times... where someone thats had a car so dear to them for sooo long sell it to some NOOB and they end up wrecking it 3 days later :( *plays the death of mario song*(you know the song after you've lost all your extra men)
