I did buy a few things from Nopi though, a Competition Kevlar Karbonite clutch, a JDM DC Sports header w/ 2.5 inch collecter, a fuel pressure regulator and gauge, and a skunk2 obd2-obd1 converter, that's all I can think of for now. I have a few other parts that we just kinda threw in for good measure as well. lol. I don't need a club, I have a few friends, my family, and a racetrack that's all I need. Unlike some I don't mod my car for the approval of others. When I bought it the car had a body kit and 17" rims a custom system and altezza tail lights. The body kit is still on but the rims have been replaced with Konig Helium 15"'s that weigh 10.2lbs each with Toyo T1-s tires. Tails are now oem EX, and the system is gone and sold. I think its funny how every club says they are contributing to the scene and all that, when in reality you go to local shows or cruise ins and hang out and thats it and you call it supporting the scene. Back in the day, and yes I can say this since I have been doing this since 89, we were putting on shows to benefit charities, ourselves, and helping out at the shows we were not putting on. We had cars and trucks that showed on all levels, local, state, region, and nationwide. Anything from clean daily drivers to full blown show queens. The only club I can say that really has a awesome image right now is Team ECI. They are all over the place showing and in magazines all the time. When was the last time you saw any club passing out flyers, heading to car shows to promote another show, etc, etc. It takes more than just paying an entry fee and showing your car or a bunch of people (friends) with a title to support the scene.
