ok, so yesterday we lowered my car, n everything is fine except for this one fucked up thing, ok wel its not really that bad, just puzzling.my passenger side rear is maybe a half an inch or a little under a half an inch higher then my drivers side rear...the only things i can think of is that its either the springs not placed right in the shock, or its something with the shock. now one thing with the shock is that, when we were tightening the bod down on the top of the strut tower, it went down farther then all the other 3, maybe thats the reason? im not really sure but its weird as hell, do any of yall know? please help me out if you do

4 springs...2 front & 2 rear

oh yeah, the shock should not ever effect the height.

umm...are the springs set at a specific height or do you make it the height you want?

there lowering springs not coil overs, i got an idea, it could be one of the bushings maybe or the springs ont set in the shock right

Did you compare the springs...standing them all upright or next to each other before installing?

...open the hatch up and push down above the tailights or pop the hood and push down on top of the fender well (not on the fender itself)...any funny noises, clunks, etc. while doing that or driving? If it's not seated right then it's gonna make a noise but i doubt both on one side wouldn't seat at the same time...with the wheel off or turned you can see if it's on correctly anyways.

can you elaborate on that? what went down further? maybe that could lead to a solution.

sounds like they forgot one of the bushings/spacers on that corner... i'd say pull the 2 rears and compare to see what you're missing. if it "went down further" then the spring would have more preload than the others and would make that corner sit higher.

Doing it again may seem like it sucks, but its better safe than sorry. And doing it over again will make you much more knowledgable on the installation of springs. I agree with HiPsi, I believe you possibly left something out on the side that seems lower or maybe the top of the strut tower, where you have to reassemble the pieces, you put a part in upside down which would give it that extra height.
