We are members of bank of america and locheed credit union, but I am told that they are not for common folks. My BF wants to take out a loan, he doesn't have bad credit, but he don't have a lot of credit. He wants about 2500 dollars. Any suggestions on a bank or loan company or ways to boost his credit?

problem is most places will only loan a minimum of $5000. BUT, there's a site but I forgot the name, where people will loan you money via the net. I heard about on Clark Howard. go to his website or if you can't find it there just call the show or help center and someone will be able to tell you.

I mean people that aren't rich. because if i had a 1000 ux to secure another 1000 bux I would not need a loan.

Tried this several years ago and was told to just find a credit card with a good interest rate.
Check http://www.bankrate.com/brm/rate/cc_home.asp
