Looking for someone that can weld an S13 diff. I have an open diff that I want welded correctly...

Might buy or trade one that is already welded if it's cheep enough...

I know Turbo Dave can do it. However, you should be extremely cautious with a welded diff b/c if you break an axle you are looking at a big time problem. If you are doing a freeway run at 100 mph and have one axle break you are going to be doing 360's down the road. I wouldn't run a welded diff unless it was a track only car. Doing it on a street car is risky. Good luck, contact Mainstream if you have any questions about it.

It's not the diff that's the problem. The diff welded is damn near indestructible. It's the AXLES since 100% of the power is going out of the diff to both of the axles all it takes is for one to break and you are up shit creek b/c the other one is still pulling.

Can the axle actually come out? I know on some vehicles and I'm thinking very foggy right now due to my medicine, but some, maybe most? the Axle cant come out unless it breaks at the end near the hub. I saw my friends small blocked S10 Blazer break one like that at the strip. He kept it under control at 100mph.

If it didnt break to where it could come out of the car, then you'd have no problem controlling it. Being as most vehicles are only driven by one wheel anyways.

get a 2way LSD and dont to it the ghetto way. Do it right the first time.

EDIT:

get a 2way for drift and or a 1way or 1.5 way for road courses...240sx does not like 2 way LSD on road courses..trust me on that..
